Wow. Penny Craver is selling Tremont Music Hall
I'm trying to think of all of the great acts I've seen at the Tremont...Southern Culture On The Skids, Stereolab, Superchunk, Jonathan Fire*eater, countless local acts... My old band played there three times.
1) We owned. Triple bill with Rory Lewis (the human dung heap), World Class Fad, and (us) Frocky Jack. It never got as good as that show again. It was like 95deg F in there.
2) I think the 2nd was the "Rage Against AIDS' benny. We played in the big room. I won't say the crowd was small but I knew everyone's middle name in the room. We rocked out with Cyclone Mack later that evening in another club (since closed).
3) I can't even remember who we played with. This was plagued with a few technical difficulties. It was about 41deg F in the club that night. I had fun.
