Blots ticking away the days
Good news. We had a fairly good practice last night. I think this ought to be a really well-played and attended show as we are playing at Amos'. Now, don't get me wrong, it's not my usual cup of tea. In the past they seem to concentrate on cover & tribute bands. But I have seen J Mascis and Eyes Adrift there in the last year. Apparently Penny Craver, former owner of the Tremont Music Hall (and the World's Famous Milestone Club) is doing the bookings. I think this might cause me more cognitive dissonance than Rory Lewis playing at the Evening Muse... But then, truth is supposed to be stranger than things we make up. And in wierdo synchronicity, the first Tremont show we played (the Penny booked) was with Rory... So life is just a swirling ball of odd coincidences. No problem. I'm glad she's back working tha local music cosmos. scene
