Amber Alert Issued for 4 Year Old North Carolina Girl
Amber Alert Issued Tuesday November 23 2004
The N.C. Center for Missing Persons and Alamance County Sheriff's Department has issued a statewide AMBER Alert for a four year old Alamance County girl who was allegedly abducted by her father and is believed to be in danger. The girl's mother was also abducted.
Christina Gaddy, 4 yrs., white female with blond hair and brown eyes.
Police are looking for Richard Gaddy, 41 yrs., white male, 6'1", 225 lbs. with short brown hair and blue eyes.
He is also believed to have abducted the girl's mother, who is traveling with them. She is Christie Lynn Sharpe, a white female, age 25, no further description available.
They are believed to be traveling in a 1979 white Ford 4-x-4 pickup truck with North Carolina license plate CS-4165 that is being driven by Gaddy.
He is believed to be headed to Georgia, therefore the Center has also requested the states of South Carolina and Georgia to activate their AMBER Alert systems.
Gaddy is considered armed and dangerous and has threatened to harm the child and her mother if he is approached, therefore citizens who have seen the vehicle or the individuals described should not approach.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Alamance County Sheriff's Department at 336-570-6776 or dial 911.
