Anti-Slavery Marathon

For the 109th Boston Marathon on April 18th, some runners are getting into shape, some are testing their endurance. Jeffrey Louis Perrin is raising money to stop genocide.

Mr. Perrin will be running in the Boston Marathon on Monday and is asking you to sponsor him in the 26-mile run. Donations will go to the American Anti-Slavery Group in support of our work to end the Sudan genocide.

According to experts, 300,000 black Sudanese have died in Darfur at the hands of the dictatorship in Sudan and its Arab militia. 2 million have been displaced from their homes, and countless civilians have been raped, tortured, starved, and enslaved.

The international community has done little to stop these atrocities. But we have the ability to use our freedom to help liberate those being brutally persecuted in Sudan.

By sponsoring Mr. Perrin in the Boston Marathon on April 18th, you will be contributing to the American Anti-Slavery Group's efforts to stop the genocide and slavery. Your donations will provide much-needed aid to survivors of slavery and genocide in Sudan, support our Sudanese survivor speakers, and further our activism efforts within the United States.

Help us stop the genocide by donating to this campaign or become a monthly donor by joining the Freedom Brigade.

Adios Newt Junior
"My party is going to have to decide whether we are going to continue to make excuses for Tom [DeLay] to the detriment of Republicans seeking election."

Turning NeoCons into GeoGreens (can't be that easy)

If you want to drive a Hummer, go to Iraq.
Yeah, that pretty much says it Thomas.

Stand with Senate Democrats against these nominees:

The Republicans are arrogant with power. If they don't like the rules, they break them. If they don't like someone standing in their way, they attack them. We have Republican Leadership in the Senate that is considering throwing out 200 years of Senate history in order to pack the courts with right wing judges. And we have a Republican Leader in the House of Representatives who attacks judges who don't agree with him and corrupts our government by running roughshod over the ethics committee.

t r u t h o u t - US May Be Holding Iraqi Women Hostage
Be a man Muhammad Mukhlif and give yourself up and then we will release your sisters. Otherwise they will spend a long time in detention.

You see the TERRORISTS hate out freedom. You know FREEDOMs like the ability to do whatever we want to whoever we want without repercussions.

I mess with Texas
Senator John Cornyn, a Texas Republican, rose in the chamber and dared to argue that recent courthouse violence might be explained by distress about judges who "are making political decisions yet are unaccountable to the public." The frustration "builds up and builds up to the point where some people engage in" violence, said Mr. Cornyn, a former member of the Texas Supreme Court who is on the Senate Judiciary Committee, which supposedly protects the Constitution and its guarantee of an independent judiciary.

So whenever an angry mob is fed up, it's ok for them to go ahead and lynch someone. Even if they are a duly elected/or appointed official. Like a senator from Texas, for example.
